Team Mint

A high priority for me this year is to improve the visibility of Team Mint to the rest of the world.

So today's blog will have nothing to do with the Pizza Box that drops at 7pm cst TODAY.

We have a new player to welcome to The Mint Team!

Patrick Brown will be joined Team Mint for 2026. We've gotten to know him well over the past few years and are looking forward to spread the Mint love with him out in California this year.

Learn More About Patrick's Career:

Patrick Brown was first introduced to the sport of disc golf in Austin, TX, in 1989. After moving to San Francisco in 2003, he rediscovered the sport following a skateboarding injury. He found his home at Golden Gate Disc Golf Course, where he spent over 40,000 hours across nine years working on a beautification project in order to keep the course in the ground.

In 2010, at the age of 40, Patrick decided to become a touring professional. While on tour, he has played 350 events, claimed victories at 122 of them, and earned five major titles. Patrick has competed around the world, helping grow the sport through clinics and private lessons. He is also a UPlay ambassador, combining disc golf with his other passion-graffiti art.

Patrick looks forward to representing Mint Disc in the 2026 season. He is stoked to be a part of an Austin based brand that prides themselves on the growth of the sport in Texas and around the world. With the combination of superior disc golf products, disc shop, HOTT tour and Sprinkle Valley this growth might be unstoppable!

Team Mint Wildflower Recap:

The Wildflower Disc Golf Tour stopped by Sprinkle Valley over the weekend for their inaugural 2026 event - The 4th Annual Prickly Pear Classic. The Wildflower Tour was founded by Team Mint members Krissie Fountain, Stephanie Vincent, Renae Farr and Des Reading in 2023.

A total of 61 women competed in this years event with 8 Women from Team Mint in attendance.
