Forward Momentum

I think this will be the title I use when I feel pulled back.

Back into how I operated a couple of years ago.

While I am still who I am, the way I approach Mint is much different now.

I don't have time for everyone.

That's the hardest part to tell people.

Something else is more important.

Not everyone is in the same place mentally.

It's hard to have those conversations and listen to each others needs.

Being perfect for everyone is fucking hard.

That's what pulls me back down sometimes.

I used to view my time in disc golf as infinite.

I've come close enough to failure that I had to accept much of this is finite.

Mint is not guaranteed to last for forever.

People expect more after a while.

You have to continue to deliver upon those expectations if you want the timeline to feel infinite.

I remember going to Disc South last year and talking to a few of the vendors that have been in this game 20+ years. The retailers that were pioneers before I ever touched a disc.

One thing stood out from them compared to everyone else I meet in this sport.

They got to the point.

Fast.

They don't have time to feather emails and jump through hoops.

Get to the point.

Show the cards you need to show and move on.

Go where you are wanted.

Watching how those retailers operated was eye opening despite all of my experience.

I saw a skillset I didn't have.

One I needed to develop.

So where I am going with all of this?

Next month we will announce two new disc models.

Next month we will release two new mini discs.

Next month we will restock an incredibly popular putter.

Next month we will start our Spring League.

Next month will be here before you know it.

Stop wasting time.
