An old friend from the Bat City Bombers days came by Sprinkle today.

Andy Escalante.

This was a club we ran when I was in between Disc Nation and Mint.

It was Andy, Chris H, Maz and myself running the club.

Putting Leagues. Weekend meetups. Casual Rounds.

We were a traveling club of sorts.

Open to everyone. If you had a fun idea, we did it.

Mint 100% tried to carry over some of those vibes from the BCB days.

That sense of community. Being welcome to everyone.

It's a little coincidental for me to see Andy coming back around to disc golf, as we are very much trying to push Mint back to how we operated in the those early years when BCB was a huge influence.

Mint is not what it is without Bat City.

We have the experience of being a larger company, but we want to still be that homegrown thing that helps our neighbor.

Can't wait to play a round with Andy again soon.
