Things are starting to speed up this summer.
New Profits, immediately followed by new Lobsters.
Summer League has been a lot of fun.
It’s got a similar feel to my BCB days.
More like running a club.
Also gives me some extra structure in the day.
That’s the hardest thing about being your own boss, the structure and accountability.
We’ve been very careful about what we add to our plate this year. Most of it has been sales focused.
The past 2-3 years were about building the house on top of the foundation we had. Now we need to fill that house.
I’ve increased the non-Mint brands that are available online and at Sprinkle Valley. I know that’s been unexpected for some, but it’s sort of necessary when you don’t own the factory.
We now have top sellers from Prodigy and Discraft in-store. I still need to get some Kastaplast. That’s on the list to finally do this week.
Again, I’m mainly focused on the models that sell well. It’s not really a “secret business plan”. That’s how the rest of the world works.
Shelf space is valuable, especially in a small store like Sprinkle. We sell more Trails than we do Goats in person.
Today was supposed to be about USWDGC today but it just didn’t make sense. I’m ready to move on.
Enjoying where we’re going and not trying to look back today.
Until tomorrow.
