It's sort of hard to believe this is the 5th one.

I am fairly certain that the idea of Sprinkle didn't exist when we hosted the 1st one.

The Ranch has been a big part of our story.

In my unbiased opinion it is still the best course in Texas.

For the first few years Adam only had long tee pads.

People were shooting +50 and still scoring above their rating.

Adam has since installed shorts on a majority of the holes, which makes the daunting stretches of the course like Holes 13-16 more manageable for lower skill levels.

Back then people were asking for shorts. The course was just too hard.

A lot of AMs were visibly scared before they teed off.

That is the level of golf and scoring expectation that translated to Sprinkle.

I think the thing that I enjoy the most about The Ranch is that the holes make you want to come back.

The fairways are fair.

The tee shot is right there.

Hit it.

At the Mint Discs Open this year, we transitioned most of the lower AM divisions to the new shorts. 

I was pretty surprised by the amount of players telling me they missed the challenge of the longs.

That right there is why I believe courses like the Ranch and Sprinkle, that force you to throw every shot with intention, are the future of this sport.

When given the opportunity to pursue the impossible, humanity tends to rise to the challenge.
