Today is a tough one.
It's a Monday. It was a 12+ hour day. Partly because I hung out for some of tonight's Stamp Machine stream.
For the past 2-3 weeks I have gone into every day knowing what I plan to write.
Today I had no plan besides just going to work. I have also tried to write these blogs on the day they are due.
Once we get past the The Open at Austin, and I take some vacation time, I will need to have all the blogs pre-written in order to meet 365.
Just a week or so ago I was looking forward to writing a blog every day. The last week has been an obsession with figuring out how to live stream.
So I guess this blog is working for what I need to. I have always struggled with FOCUS.
Ideas & opportunities come at us fast. Friends texting and dropping by to say hi.
This blog is basically my journal. The thing I have to do every day so I don't fail. The bare minimum of what I need to deliver to Mint every day.
So I think that is where today's blog sorta is going to be and exist.
I am in a stream of consciousness where all I can think about is the weight of doing this for 365 days when I'd rather be doing other stuff.
The blog starts to feel like a job when I have other fun stuff to do.
The reality that has been sitting in the back of my head is that this blog will probably only get harder if I am not prepared each day.
March through May is blur of events for us. Austin Putting Championships, The Open at Austin, Red Rock Show, Mint Discs Open, LOSO, and COTO. Pretty much two weeks apart back to back to back to back to...
You get the idea.
January and February are the easy months. of the year for us. We have more time because the weather sucks.
HOLD UP.
Guy's audio and camera's went down on the live stream.
Back to work.
Until tomorrow.
