Are you ready for The Open at Austin?

It is coming to Austin again this year(March 20-23, 2025).

The first two days, Thursday and Friday, of the event will be at Sprinkle Valley. Saturday and Sunday will be at Harvey Pennick.

Starting this week, you will see new turf going in, courtesy of the Disc Golf Pro Tour.

Next week, we will likely close the course to bring in the mulcher and clean up the fairways. We will also hopefully be finishing the long tee pads for Holes 5, 8 and 13.

We will also start taking apart the island on Hole 17 and rebuilding the walls.

We will have course work days pretty much every weekend going forward. Starting in March the grass and rough will start to explode with new growth. So mowing and weed eating is the main priority, plus spreading mulch to areas that need it.

Don't have much else today.

That is what is on my mind as we are now almost a month out. It's go time. March is here.
