The Open at Austin is so close now.

Less than a month away. Now's the time to lock in final plans. Double check our prep sheets for the course.

Today's blog won't be long. I need to write tomorrow's blog tonight for the weekly team recap. I had to skip it last week. I also have to catch up on all the work I didn't do today so that we could get stuff done on the course.

That's the life! Embrace it. Love it.

We started putting down some new turf on the course today. Took a little longer than planned per usual, but with the help of Dan, Xan and Martin we got about 6 pads replaced. We'll hopefully get through most of the others by mid day tomorrow.

Olse is almost done building the new frame for the elongated wall on Hole 17. 

By Thursday we'll hopefully have all the piles of sticks ground down via McNabb Land Services(hit up Austin McNabb for your forestry mulching needs!).

Once all the new turf is down and greens are done, we'll spend most of March focused on beautification. Fresh mulch on boxes and greens, new wood OB stakes, and lots of mowing as March arrives.
