I’ve got a lot to say.
I’m still thinking through it though.
Really happy with how Sprinkle played.
I saw things on camera I never saw before.
I saw the holes being played how I know they are supposed to be played.
I heard pros talking about the subtle shapes and flips we ask them to execute.
The course just slowly demands more and more.
You think about 18 lingering there.
I saw them thinking on every shot.
I saw the people that helped us build it. I saw how much they were loving every second of it.
This isn’t a C-Tier course after all.
This is Sprinkle Valley.
That’s the mentality we have to wake up with.
Intention and purpose.
It’s ok for the course to be the story for once.
I am fast approaching the point where being the Mint guy, Sprinkle guy and TD guy don’t align. The relationships get blurry. The intent and emotion.
People, myself included, will unintentionally appeal to one to leverage the others. I’ve put myself there. That has to change some.
You can tell me all you want it’ll be ok, but there’s only a handful of people in the world in the same position I am.
Very few understand my story and mindset.
Taking opinions comes with the job. I don’t want it to, but it just does.
The one thing that has always helped me think was actually playing disc golf.
So that’s what I’m gonna do.
April’s blog is about playing every day.
Every fucking day.
Take care of yourself mentally. Build the tools to help do it. Talk to people. Its changed my life.
I love this sport.
I will gladly join you on these ventures! I’m excited to see you throwing!
Hopefully we can get a round in sometime! Playing is one the easiest ways to bring joy back into my life.
