Round 4 was at Moody’s today.

This has always been one of my favorite places to play and also run events.

Once you’ve played here a few times you figure out a few facts:

1. The course is slightly different every time(I love this!).
2. Low branches
3. Cow shit
4. Gopher holes
5. The wind always picks up for Round 2

I’ve always viewed these as part of the experience. That’s the terrain.

You gotta learn to embrace those things if you want to win out here.

Honestly that’s true for every course. We don’t have courses that are maintained like Ball Golf courses.

Get used to the things that make you uncomfortable and turn them into motivations.

So let’s look at how I played.

Today I played 18 holes. I started on the Front 9 of Fire of the Mountain and finished on the Back 9 of Estimates Prophet.

I left the scorecards unfinished but this is where I’m at on each course. Also I played solo today.

My goal will be to finish the other 9 on each course after the tournament both days.

So on Saturday I’ll probably finish Estimated Prophet(it’s faster) and then do the other half of Fire on the Mountain Sunday.
