almost there 

6am to 6:30pm

Burned my finger.

Popped a mower belt.

Couldn’t start a chainsaw.

Course was wet.

Still got a lot done.

Nice to see the course start to get dressed up.

Varner led a crew handling the OB lines today. Jacob and Ef have been a huge help these past few weeks. I appreciate it more than I could ever tell them. They just know what to do.

I spent most of the day mowing and weed eating the holes in the field.

We can’t put down C1/2 without a fresh mow on the holes in the field first. Those colorful whiskers don’t appreciate it when a zero turn hits buzzes their tops.

I have had to mow them once every 7-10 days since April. The constant heavy rains have been good for the course, so I don’t mind the extra hours these days. 

We’ve definitely cut and mowed about 2x what we did for last years event. The growth just doesn’t stop and we lost the last 3 days to storms.

Definitely feeling a bit behind from all that though.

Going to spend most of Sunday and Monday pushing it back more so that the course looks its best.

1st Practice day is tomorrow.

Thursday we go live.
