Forward Momentum (Day 13 of 365)
I honestly don't remember when I met Efrain Aguilar.
I wish I did. Do you remember Efrain?
Anyways, before I knew it he just started showing up to everything.
Started asking me if he could help with the Live Oak putting league.
He's been running that league ever since(Thursday night at Live Oak). I couldn't find the exact date he started, but I'm pretty sure he took it over before covid hit.
He's also the leader of the Texas Chain Rattlers Disc Golf Club.
Efrain was a vital part of our US Women's team. He has spent more hours than most volunteering at work days, minis, HOTT and Wildflower events. You want a crew to show up? Call Efrain and TCR will be there.
He captained Team Mint to a Teams Hucking Championship when I went out with injury.
Efrain has also played exactly 100 PDGA events.
The biggest win of his career is 1st Place in MA3 at Piney Woods(A-Tier).
He is the epitome of being a friend to disc golf.

Do you have a favorite Efrain story?
Efrain and I met at the Team Hucking Championship back in 2022. He showed up Friday night and we chatted around the campfire about life, disc golf and family. I think he invited me to his daughter’s quinceanera. I had way too much to drink Friday night and introduced myself to him the very next morning. We had a good laugh and while we have been friends for years now, we still introduce ourselves to each other every time we meet. Fun story!
