Forward Momentum (Day 199 of 365)

Be someone’s.

Every day I walk through the bar to get to the store.

Every time I pop up a tent.

Sit down at the table.

Look at my phone.

Write a blog.

I have to be someone’s.

Expectation.

Answer.

Reason.

You can call it ego.

Hubris.

It is what comes with the job though.

You genuinely could not understand it until it’s expected of you.

5 minutes to be someone’s.

Idol? Hero? Reason?

Are you willing to give that to everyone who knows you because of your job?

So when I say “be someone’s”, it’s not because I have an ego or want to be an idol.

It’s because that expectation can make someone’s day.

Give them a reason to come hang out Live Oak or Sprinkle.

To tell me I had a typo

Many people go through the same emotions I have expressed in this blog for the past 199 days.

So if I have learned anything after all this self discovery.

It’s that I get a lot more personal happiness when I’m willing to be someone’s.
