Today's blog is just two questions.

What do you wish Mint did better(or more of or different)?

What do you think Mint does best(and you hope we don't stop doing)?

Actually. One more question for you.

Why do you think I am asking these questions?

Until tomorrow :)

  • 1. Thing to Change/Wish it was Different
    a. I love Mint’s molds. Almost every disc feels like it has its own place in the bag. My wish, however, is for some faster discs to join the lineup. The only distance drivers we have are the Longhorn and Goat, which are both great molds. However, as someone who aspires to bag 100% Mint, I would love for some more variety in the higher speed tiers to join the lineup. I understand creating new discs is a process (one which I will patiently wait on), I just believe if a new mold is up for creation it should be a new distance driver.

    2. Thing I Love/Mint Does Great
    a. Everyone in the comments has praised the serial numbers, and I wholeheartedly agree. Keep this system!
    b. Plastics. The main reason Mint drew me in was two things: the Bobcat and the plastics. Every plastic type feels great and doesn’t feel cheap. Keep up the great work.

  • When I first found Mint in 2022 (Kevin from Birdie Supply sold me a grackle on Facebook Marketplace) and I wanted to learn more. Navigating the website then wasn’t easy and since it’s been updated it still isn’t easy to find basic info on different molds and flight numbers (I now understand why Mint doesn’t post numbers). As a new person to Mint though I found it hard to learn about discs and what else I wanted to try. Maybe just adding some info on discs, runs, plastics, etc.

What is great is the serial numbers. I see it with other manufacturers that there are different runs and flights just as with Mint. The serial numbers make it easy to find that exact mold run your want. Please never stop doing serial numbers.

  • 1. I think there could be more apparel options. Hat selection always goes pretty fast. I could use a sticker for the truck lol.
    2. Drops, limited runs, serial number system, online engagement, plastics, disc art.

  • Mint is amazing!

From a community perspective, mint does so much for central Texas. I think HOTT is great, but i wish it was more of a cornerstone of the community on social, promoting players, and bringing people together. Finding a way to make HOTT work for everyone would be amazing.
