Writing this blog has gotten very hard.
I also have enough experience with it to know that it will likely get easy again very soon.
That is just the ebb and flow of running a business.
It's been hard lately because I have been so focused on other things. It feels similar to taking 30 minutes to practice putting in my backyard after work.
I don't want to do it, but I need to.
So that being said...let's do a top 5 list for this blog.
Here's my Top 5 favorite discs that aren't from Mint.
1) Millennium OLF
- Any plastic. Any run. It's the best "fairway" ever made.
- If I had to collect one run, it's the first run SOLF
2) Axiom Mayhem
- This is one of those discs I just jived with.
- I have only thrown the Plasma ones and like them with some dome for the extra glide.
- I first discovered this disc at a "Disc Draft" event last year at Sprinkle. I drafted this disc. It never left my bag.
- For Mint fans, it's basically a seasoned Goat.
3) Innova Valkyrie
- I learned to hyzer flip with this disc.
- I don't know why it's not more popular today
- GO THROW ONE ALREADY.
4) Legacy Clozer
- The best putter you'll never use. At one point I probably owned more than anyone else in the world. I had over a hundred of them stashed away before we started Mint up and I sold them off.
- Straight thrower. Big bead. Low profile.
- It's like a UFO with a flat top.
5) Millennium Aurora MS aka QMS
- Honestly, this disc should probably be first on the list. So I guess the list isn't necesarilly in order.
- I threw the OG version. Stringray bottom, Roc top.
- CE QMS was the best but even the Millennium plastic(pro line) were really good too. The Mustang is a modern take on the QMS.
Have you tried any of these models?
What is on your list?
Until tomorrow.
Love my pfn valkyries, also learned to hyzer flip with it.
