We're hosting a 3-Disc Climo Challenge this Sunday at Live Oak. Efrain will be the TD.

Register Here: Climo Disc Golf 3-Disc Challenge (@Live Oak Brewing)

As a disc golfer from the Climo era, I'm really excited for this new line to come out. We will be selling it at Sprinkle Valley soon(it arrives tomorrow).

I love the marketing and branding of it all too. It has a Jordan type feel that will look good on a shelf. That fits the type of brands we want to stock at Mint. They also have a smaller lineup, and we really don't have a lot of room in our store. So brands with a small lineup work well. If I stocked Discraft we'd have to fill a whole wall. We're out of walls.

So if you play the Climo 3-Disc Challenge, you'll get one of each of the new discs for only $50 and a portion of each entry goes to payout as well.

We now have Meridian and Trash Panda in stock too. I expect H13 to be in soon too(my bad). Meridian is run by some great people in the Temple/Belton area and they work with Mason. They also make some great beef jerky that we stock in the store: Big Country Beef Jerky.

H13 is out of San Antonio, an area that is a big part of the Mint community.

The real reason we stock them is to support them and their communities. This is how disc golf grows. Helping where you can. Making friends. This sport isn't ready for winner take all mentality. The last few years are proof.

Their smaller and more limited lineup also makes it appealing to our setup. This was why we started stocking Elevation last year too: local, unique, shared fan base, small lineup.

Side note: Their mini's are awesome. Hands down my favorite on the market.

Trash Panda is another great brand we started stocking recently. They have a impressive nose for marketing and unending commitment to their sustainability goals. Also, it's a small lineup. Everything about them is cool to me as a customer. It reminds me of when MVP was coming up. There's something different happening up there in Colorado. It's a cool new direction for the sport. It resonates with a lot of people in a positive way.

With that in mind, you'll also probably see some empty shelves at Sprinkle this week. We're moving most of the hats to the shirt wall.

(Guy is)

We're then converting the hat shelves into more disc racks. It's all built on the same bracket system in case we needed to change it up. Glad we did that.

This will now be our New Release Wall for all brands, including Mint. It will add about 20 disc slots we desperately need(courtesy of Keith Russom of course).

Also...it's next to the Vault.

So um, yeah that's business y'all. Layouts matter.

Make sure to stop in the Vault next time you come by.

:)

Guy and my wife helped lay out all the changes. She's been the one updating the store layout and new disc name placards this year. It's taken a lot of our plate and helped us get a lot more organized. Love you Jessi.

If you come by the store to get the new Glow Bullets and Glow Freetails, you'll probably see some big gaps in the Mint sections at Sprinkle Valley.

Next week we'll stock these with Grackles and something else...

Something new.

Wait before I reveal that, Guy also stamped up some small batches of Glow Diamondbacks, Sublime Swirl Freetails, Sublime Alphas, and Apex Longhorns we had left over.

Ok back to the real tease here.

This plastic has never before done in the history of Mint.

The mold is a crowd favorite

It is my favorite disc of all time.

The Mustang.

In Nocturnal Flex Plastic.

See you at the Open at Austin.

Yes we need more volunteers.
